We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to join us on a part-time basis with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

Job Description

We are looking for a newly licensed RCIC Immigration Consultant who is eager to develop their expertise and grow with our firm. The successful candidate will work alongside our senior immigration consultant, assisting clients with their Canadian immigration journey while learning the intricacies of case processing, legal research, and client relations.

This is a client-facing and sales-oriented role, requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to onboarding new clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the senior RCIC consultant to determine the best immigration pathway for clients.
  • Assist in warming up and closing clients by explaining services and guiding them through the contract signing process.
  • Manage and process Canadian immigration applications, including gathering required documents, completing government forms, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain client files using Officio (CRM software specialized for Canadian Immigration applications).
  • Communicate effectively with clients via in-person meetings, phone, email, and Zoom.
  • Keep track of application deadlines, document expirations, and submission requirements using Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Calendar) or Office 365.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes to Canadian immigration policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional office etiquette, including a business-professional dress code.
  • Contribute to the company's growth, with opportunities for career advancement as Lawseph expands.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Newly licensed RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant).
  • Strong sales acumen; ability to engage, build rapport, and close client contracts.
  • Excellent research, writing, and critical thinking skills.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in digital file management, CRM systems (Officio preferred), and business software (Google Workspace or Office 365).
  • Strong communication skills in in-person, phone, email, and video meetings (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
  • A natural learner with the ability to adapt to evolving immigration laws and policies.
  • Post-secondary education (preferred), demonstrating skills in research, writing, analysis, and effective communication.
  • Kind, honest, positive, and resourceful personality.
